Shannon's Bridal Boudoir Session l March 9th, 2015

What is a bridal boudoir session? You may have been hearing about them...the trend is getting more and more popular. In theory, the pin-up style photos are taken to put into an album and give to the groom on the big day. While this may be the tradition, we think they're actually all about the experience! And all about the bride!

Our main goal with every boudoir shoot, besides having tons of fun, is for our bride to feel beautiful, confident, and comfortable. You may be thinking, "I'm no model, that's easier said than done." No, you're not a model, you are a person opening yourself up to a new and vulnerable experience. Which is so much more beautiful! Go YOU!

But what if you still feel nervous?

Well, that only makes you human, and that's where we come in! You and I will become good friends: building a Pinterest board with you, putting on your favorite tunes, popping open a bottle of wine, deciding on outfit choices, and helping with posing. Bobby is always a most respectful gentlemen behind the camera; and together, we create an environment where you can not only relax, but enjoy yourself!

A boudoir session can be an unforgettable experience! It's sexy not slutty. Classy not trashy. It's about your authentic self.

Shannon contacted us about a Bridal Boudoir Session shortly before her March wedding. We decided on The Hotel Monaco, filled with Baltimore history, and brought in Aubrey from the one-and-only Charm City Top Knots for hair and makeup! Shannon also requested another twist....her groom. These two march to the beat of their own drum, which we love, and we're always up to try something new. So, Matt joined us for the last 30 minutes, and it was truly special to get to document such intimate moments between these two less than one week before they said "I Do." And we all shared some good laughs!
