Shannon & Ryan's Surprise Engagement l March 20th, 2015

Baltimore, Maryland

Ryan wanted to propose to Shannon on the first day of spring. On the day he met us, to hatch our secret plan, he said, "I've been carrying around this ring for almost a month!" He had a big grin on his face and said March 20th was the day. He was certain. 

But, in keeping with the wild winter we've been having on the east coast, the first day of spring rolled in with wind, frigid temps, and a mini snowstorm. Cold hands, warm hearts. Federal Hill Park set the scene with a gorgeous view of Baltimore. When Ryan popped the question, Shannon was jumping up and down with excitement. She had no idea that photographers were nearby. I love the double surprise reaction! 

Shannon has a great laugh. Ryan says it's what got him, he heard her laugh and she had him.   

Documenting love in the city we love best....it doesn't get much better.
