The world of a newborn baby is a fascinating thing. I find myself thinking, what if I could remember what it felt like the first time I saw my mother's smile, or felt a kiss from my big sis?! The massive discoveries each day must bring, no wonder they need so much sleep! Little hands grasping, little feet wiggling, little eyes focusing, in and out, on the great big world.

Bobby and I were thrilled when our friend Veronika asked us to take some photos of this little bundle. She and her husband, Mark, now have three beautiful girls. And it was a treat to watch Sophia and Zoe show off their new baby sister to us. We've gotten to know them for a while now...I love watching them, especially little Zoe, figure out the mechanics of this tiny new addition. 

What a precious way to spend a morning! It has been a while since I've gotten to be with a baby this small. But, years of honing my nanny skills seem to have paid off. And Bobby, well he's a natural. We couldn't get enough of this little one and her baby smells. What a sweetie pie!
