As the final days of summer wind down, I take a deep breath and finally have a chance to look back at the fantastic weddings we've gotten to photograph so far this year. Before jumping into the fall season, I am taking a moment to catch up on the unforgettable moments from our 2016 wedding blogs; starting the journey with Hali & Kerri! 

This wedding marks our first ceremony on water, floating on it, to be precise. The Moshulu is docked in the Philly Harbor and it makes a stunning backdrop for a wedding. Everyone hops on the party bus for photos around the city before we join together to see our beloved brides tie the knot.

After the broom is jumped, guests are ready to celebrate the newly married Mrs. & Mrs.! The reception is waiting for us at the IATSE ballroom, as is one of the best cocktail hours I've ever seen. Hali & Kerri love good food as much as we do, for that I am grateful. My eyes were as big as the jumbo shrimp. 

The party starts quickly when the brides drop the formality and put on their rainbow leis. The girls have a sneaky surprise that they are very excited to share. Halfway through the reception, their new guest joins the party, and enters with a killer Whitney Houston lipsync. I am so happy to have finally photographed a wedding with a drag queen performance. Watching this surprise play out is something we will never forget. Hilarious!

Hali and Kerri have a long history in love, and it's evident that they have a long, happy journey together ahead of them. Bobby and I wish them nothing but LOVE. Keep the party going and enjoy your adventure together.
