These two lovebirds stole our hearts the moment we met them. They greeted us in their home, full of welcome, warmth, and wit. I immediately felt grateful that they found us...our first chance to document a mature marriage. What I found in their relationship was honesty, respect, depth, and joie de vivre. Michael and Patti are my beacon of proof that love and laughter can get you very far in this world.

The wedding day greets us with gorgeous skies, but the crispness in the air says fall is right around the corner. We come to the Sandy Spring Friends Meetinghouse to witness our first Quaker meeting, the topic today: Michael and Patti. This event cannot be photographed, and so, we get the rare opportunity to simply be there. It is a gift. Tears fill my eyes as, one by one, friends and family stand to address the bride and groom, showering them with words of love.

The evening moves forward to the Sandy Spring Museum, with a great huzzah of celebration. Such fabulous people, and the babies....oh my, these babies take the cake in my book. There is even an engagement! Where better?! Michael and Patti have an unforgettable tribe holding them up, including their wonderful children; it was so special to share in the love.
