Styled Wedding of Flowers and Lace | April 18th, 2017
Baltimore Museum of Art | Maryland
Baltimore, Charm City, is a city full of love and is loved by many. Baltimore is our home and as wedding photographers, we felt compelled to put together a styled wedding photo shoot featuring people and businesses of the city, who love it as much as we do. We intend for future couples to be inspired by Baltimore and what it has to offer for your wedding.
The Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA) is the venue. It is a prestigious museum filled with world-renowned art and sculptures housed inside an impressive and historic building built in the 1920s. The natural light and the high ceilings enveloping marble and stone sets the stage for iconic wedding imagery.
The floral arrangements are the creation of Mark Harding, co-owner of Flower Haus. If you're curious, he used lisianthus, scabiosa, sea star fern, uhule, poppy pods, olive, flat fern, oppo center rose, and agonis. The groom's boutonniere popped with soft accents of purple, lilac, and subtle reds and greens. It contained hues of green and complimented the bride's flower array.
Charm City Top Knots provided the formal styling for our models. Molly Mummert designed the bride's hair to be urban chic with a touch of Bohemian flair in a down style. Molly transformed the hair as we added flowers for a reception-inspired look. For makeup, Charm City enhanced our model's natural beauty and chose a red lip to pop against the light marble of the museum setting. Aubrey Schneider provided the mens grooming for our groom.
The models, Alex Colombo and Cristiano Quijano, brought our vision to life with electric chemistry and relaxed attitudes on set. They are a reflection of the vibrant Baltimore demographic. Our "bride" is adorned in a gorgeous gown from Francesca's Bridal. Our "groom" sports a top-of-the-line suit from Christopher Schafer Clothier. These outfits show how fine quality material and attention to tailored detail can make a bride and groom feel and look like royalty.
