Bobby and I love spending time getting to know a bride and groom before their wedding day. It is such an important key to getting beautiful photos, developing a friendship with our clients. Our engagement sessions are a great way to make that happen. But, we also love to get a beer! We did exactly that when we met Stephanie and Steven, at Mother's Grille in Federal Hill, Baltimore.

These two know how to have a good time and their experience in food service has given them excellent taste. Our kind of people! Our meeting turned into a nice looong happy hour with good food and great laughs. Steph and Steve tell us they trust us completely to tell their wedding story. This is an honor we don't take lightly. Being given creative freedom to document the day is the best gift we can ask for. Thank you to so many of our clients for granting us this!

When October 3rd rolls in, so does a storm. A hurricane to be exact! Joaquin, threatens to put a BIG damper on this outdoor barn wedding at Howard County Nature Conservancy. Everyone is concerned, but the happy couple remains stress-free. As a nature lover myself, I can really relate to the bummer of having to move your outdoor wedding inside. I look at the big clouds and hope for the best! 

Luckily, the storm is very kind to us during the hours of the ceremony and portraits. The barn may not be very warm, but it is overflowing with love. I think this ceremony takes the cake for tears of joy. Such romance between these two! The reception is packed with delicious food and amazing bluegrass from Bud's Collective. 

Steph and Steve share nothing but smiles and laughter, even with the unexpected weather. Their easy-going nature and great sense of humor help them glide through this day, as I imagine they will through their marriage.
