Georgetown Waterfront & Rock Creek Park | Washington, D.C.

One of the best things about our job is watching the web of people we know grow, as new couples and families come in to our lives. Erin and JJ came to us through a friendship with our beloved clients, Martha and Ben. When Erin contacted me, her voice had the warmth and enthusiasm of someone who knew we would not only be able to give her great wedding photos, but that she and JJ could count on us to be there for them. 

That trust is so important to us. 

We meet in Baltimore at Spoons Cafe, one of our favorite spots, to plan the engagement. This couple has style and they are all about the romance. We decide that the Georgetown waterfront will be the perfect opportunity for them to dress to the nines and kiss by some brick backdrops. Turns out we were right!

We meet up in Georgetown on Halloween morning, and then head over to Rock Creek Park to take advantage of the fall foliage. Watching this young couple in love makes me think have of Martha and Ben's engagement just over a year ago. These two have a similar beauty and kindness, a winning combo for photos! 

It is going to be a gorgeous wedding.
