Some families have a certain something that makes them feel like home...I think that something is love. And the Sousa's have no shortage of it. They also have no shortage of children, having just welcomed baby #4, Francesca, this past summer. Last we saw them Maria was bearing the heat and looking lovely at nine months pregnant. We photographed her brother Michael's wedding in August. Angie & Mike also happen to be exceptional human beings, so it must run in the family.

We fell in love with the Sousa's at the wedding and played around with their little cutie pies all day. So, my heart skipped when Maria reached out about family photos.

We meet them on a crisp and sunny fall day at Historic Savage Mill and enjoy the holiday decorations together. Between joking around with the little bambinos and holding Baby 'Cesca, as her brother Carlos calls her, we both get a good ole "baby fix". We love kids, but we still love sleep.

What kind, happy people. So good to be with them. I look forward to documenting these guys for years to come!

Well done Jose and Maria! You've created some pretty fabulous people.
